It was the first time I was running this well-known race. It was the 21th edition of the race. It seems there were about 5500 subscribers and about 4463 finishers.
The weather was just fine for running: it was cloudy and not too hot, which is just fine for running. Some rain was planned but I didn't feel it.
The aim is to go from Saint-Valery-sur-Somme to Le Crotoy and back. It's about 15km.
The track depends on several parameters like the weather or the terrain. The path is made through water, mud, silt and sand. I found the race less hard than the one called Corrida de la baie d'Authie, because this latter has about 3 km of heavy mud. Anyway, it was an enjoyable race.
